hh2 Cloud Services Volunteers for Local Habitat for Humanity

At hh2 Cloud Services (www.hh2.com), we pride ourselves on our commitment of making our customers lives easier by providing them with our great web and mobile solutions. Last week, we decided to help out our community by volunteering for our local Habitat for Humanity of Weber and Davis Counties (habitatwd.org).

“It was a great opportunity for our company to give back to our community,” said Dennis Dorrity, VP of Marketing at hh2 Cloud Services. “This gave us a chance to jump out of the regular pace of our jobs to volunteer and help others. Habitat for Humanity offered a great way for us to do just that. We simply asked for volunteers within our company and had 12 people ready and willing to jump right in. It was a lot of hard work, but it was well worth it.”

Employees from our marketing, sales and development departments volunteered on two different job sites. At our first site, we helped deconstruct a shed for an elderly woman. We also assisted with removing rocks and boulders from two new homes to prepare for sod. Having the ability to help those in need means so much to us!

“It was such an amazing experience being able to help out those in need,” said Ben Oliverson, Mobile Development Manager at hh2 Cloud Services. “I loved being able to interact with the homeowners and the site manager for Habitat for Humanity. It was fun seeing all of the work we were able to do. It was a great learning experience for all of us. Definitely a huge testament to many hands makes light work. We were able to have a good team building experience and help out those in our community.”
